Matt Storrs Humor Person

Bio:

Matt Storrs was lucky enough to graduate from school with crushing student loans and a law degree. Matt brings his law background to the stage with his sharp stories and esoteric comedy.

Matt has appeared on The Moth from NPR and will appear on World Channel on Stories from the Stage.

Matt hosts the podcast MATTSPLAINING where he tells experts what he “knows” about their area of expertise and then has the expert correct him.

Matt created and performed his one-person show “Portly Lutheran Know-It-All” (Edinburg Fringe Festival, Denver Fringe Festival, Providence FringePVD).

In his second show, “No Bones About It” Matt tells the story of his deepest lifelong love: dinosaurs and how they helped him overcome romantic and political slights. In April, it will be part of the NYC Fringe. Earlier versions appeared on Nerdnite and at The Pit Solocom Festival.

He hosts the bi-monthly storytelling show How Was It? at QED in Astoria, NY. Matt appeared in Infinite Sketch, a sketch show based on the writing style of David Foster Wallace. He is the creator and host of The Storrs Objection.

Matt has performed in comedy festivals including San Francisco Sketch Fest, Midwest Queer Comedy Festival, North Carolina Comedy Festival, and Bird City Comedy Festival.

Matt's hobbies include making infused honey, charming moms, and being pedantic.
